Wyeth Sucks Customer Reviews and Feedback
Wyeth, LLC was an American pharmaceutical company. The company was founded in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in 1860 as John Wyeth and Brother. It was later known as American Home Products before being renamed to Wyeth in 2002. Its headquarters moved to Collegeville, Pennsylvania, and Madison, New Jersey, before its headquarters were consolidated with Pfizer's in New York City after the merger. Most of Wyeth's pharmaceutical assets were acquired by Pfizer in 2009.
An employee mentioned, "Everything about Pfizer or at least the location I worked at was subpar. From bad management to slow ineffective equipment to overall treatment of the employees from those who benefit from all of the employee's work (the plant supervisors and management) It was a racist environment and full of nepotism. I would no suggest that ANYONE work for Pfizer unless you have a cushy office job."
Process Technician (Former Employee) says"I didn't enjoy my time there. It was Genetic's Institute before it was taken over by Wyeth. Was a great place to work then. Wyeth came in and got rid of everything that made it a great place to work. If you didn't have a degree the chances of advancement were minimal. Very few team building exercises. The duties were fast paced at times and slow at other times. Bosses were pressured to be very productive and mistake free so they passed that along to their employees.Subsidized caffeteria that Wyeth wanted to do away withStressful, competitive, cut throat work environment"
Security Guard (Former Employee) says"I worked at Wyeth for a short amount of time. I found more long term employment and since then Wyeth has closed. So it would be hard to recommend anyone to work there."

Senior Engineer APO Production Support (Former Employee) says"Not a bad place to work until they reduced head count by 10% 18 months after I started. I was told they did this every 3-4 years, which is funny because when I asked this direct question in the job interview I was assured it was stable and cuts were rare. Standard SAP support job. People supporting BW or DP got regular early AM calls to troubleshoot failed jobs.Awesome cafeteria and building.Job churn culture"
Manufacturing Supervisor (Former Employee) says"Neither professional management or proactive. Everything is planned but not executed as think. I do not recommended this company. At least in Puerto Rico."

Associate Validation Specialist (Former Employee) says"There are strict guidelines for most departments and roles, people in different departments generally don’t interact. Every business unit works for separate objectives."
Executive Administrative Assistant (Former Employee) says"Unfortunately, when I worked for Wyeth the plant was closing. I was a contractor through Kelly Services and my job was to assist the closing of the department. Individuals were on edge because they did not know when they were going to be released and what kind of severance package that might be offered. There was a flooding at the facility and employees were expected to roll up their sleeves and help the restoration team clean up. With those two events happening, it is hard to really review the company as a whole. I cannot speak on benefits, or employee satisfactionlocal jobplant closing"
